Nagly is a reminder app where a family-style persona nags you to drink water and take your medication. It is built to work without an account, and your health log never leaves your phone.
Who is responsible
Nagly is published on the Apple App Store by XcelAudit Technologies LLP and on Google Play by Mobil80. The publisher of the version you installed is the data controller for the limited data described here. Contact: mgmanoj1481@gmail.com.
What stays on your device
Everything you enter is stored only in a local database on your phone: your daily water goal, weight and activity level (used once to calculate the goal), waking hours, the water you log, the names, doses and times of medications you add, and whether you took them. We do not have servers that receive this data and we cannot see it. Uninstalling the app deletes it.
What third-party services receive
Nagly uses a small number of services to process payments, deliver occasional messages and show optional ads. They receive only what is listed here:
| Service | Purpose | Data |
|---|---|---|
| RevenueCat | Manages in-app purchases and subscriptions | An anonymous app user ID, purchase history, device/OS info, and non-health attributes (selected persona, care mode, streak length) |
| Google Play Billing / Apple App Store | Processes payments | Handled entirely by Google or Apple; we never see your payment details |
| OneSignal | Occasional check-in messages (e.g. when you haven't logged for a few days, or your trial is ending) | A push token, an anonymous install ID, and non-health tags: persona, streak length, days since last log, daily goal, number of medications, subscription/trial status. Medication names are never sent. |
| Google AdMob (Android only) | Rewarded ads, shown only when you tap "Watch ad" to unlock a persona | Advertising ID, IP address and device info, as described in Google's ad policies. The iPhone app contains no ads and no ad SDK. |
We do not sell or "share" your personal information (as those terms are defined in California law), and we do not use your health information for advertising. The iPhone app does not track you across other companies' apps or websites.
Notifications
Water and medication reminders are scheduled locally on your device and only during the waking hours you set. You can turn them off in Settings or in your phone's system settings.
Children
Nagly is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age for digital consent in your country, such as 16 in parts of the EU) and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has used Nagly, email us and we will delete any data held by our providers.
Medical disclaimer
Nagly is a reminder tool, not a medical device, and does not give medical advice. Always follow your doctor's or pharmacist's instructions.
Your choices
- Android: reset your Advertising ID or opt out of personalised ads in your phone settings. (The iPhone app shows no ads.)
- Turn off notifications at any time.
- Delete all data by uninstalling the app. To delete data held by RevenueCat or OneSignal for your anonymous ID, email us and we will request deletion.
Delete your Nagly data
Nagly: Mom's Water & Pill Nags has no accounts. To delete your data:
- Data on your phone (water log, medications, settings): uninstall Nagly, or go to Android Settings → Apps → Nagly → Storage → Clear storage. It is deleted immediately.
- Data held by our providers (the anonymous app ID and non-health tags kept by OneSignal, and purchase records kept by RevenueCat): email mgmanoj1481@gmail.com with the subject "Nagly data deletion". We will delete it within 30 days.
Apple and Google keep their own purchase records for tax and legal reasons; these are not deleted by us.
Why we use this data (legal bases)
- Providing the app and purchases (RevenueCat, Apple, Google): needed to perform our contract with you.
- Check-in notifications (OneSignal): your consent, given when you allow notifications. You can withdraw it at any time in your phone settings.
- Rewarded ads on Android (AdMob): your consent where the law requires it; otherwise our legitimate interest in funding the free version. Ads load only when you choose to watch one.
- Your water and medication log is health information. It stays on your phone and is never sent to us or our providers.
How long we keep data
Data on your phone stays until you delete it or uninstall the app. Our providers keep the anonymous ID and tags while the app is in use and delete inactive records according to their own policies; we will delete them sooner on request. Purchase records are kept as long as the law requires for tax and accounting.
International transfers
RevenueCat, OneSignal and Google process data in the United States and other countries. They use safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses for transfers out of the EU, UK and Switzerland.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example the EU, UK, Switzerland, California and other US states, Brazil, India, South Korea, Japan, Australia or Canada), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal data, to object to or restrict its use, and to withdraw consent. Because Nagly has no accounts, most of your data is already only on your phone and under your control. For data held by our providers, email mgmanoj1481@gmail.com; we will respond within 30 days (or sooner if your local law requires). We will not treat you differently for using these rights. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. Significant changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
